Gender Equality in the Educational System: Unesco-CI, IIPE-Unesco, and Menaet for Equitable Education

On May 12, 2026, a restitution ceremony on gender and leadership in education took place in Abidjan, organized by IIPE-UNESCO and MENAET. This meeting presented studies on the integration of gender equality in the Ivorian educational system. Omar Diop, UNESCO representative, highlighted ongoing reforms and the creation of the Network of Women Heads of Institutions and Deputies of Côte d'Ivoire, a support tool for female leadership in education.
