Aisha Yesufu stated that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were allegedly bribed to remove the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The ADC also accuses INEC of plotting to prevent them from participating in the 2027 elections. Additionally, prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have recently defected to the ADC, while the ADC youth issued a 72-hour ultimatum to INEC.
