Ghana: End of the IMF Rescue Program

The Ghanaian government announced on Friday the conclusion of its Extended Credit Facility program with the IMF, marking a significant step in the country's economic stabilization. This decision follows a recovery in key economic indicators and is part of a transition process initiated by President John Dramani Mahama since December 2025. Ghana is thus committing to a gradual exit from the IMF's emergency financial support.
