Ghana footballer dies after robbery attack on team bus

Ghanaian footballer Dominic Frimpong was killed during an armed robbery on his team's bus, Berekum Chelsea FC, while returning from an away match. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM on the Ahyiresu-Kwame Dwumor Sreso road in the Nyinahin District, Ashanti region. Frimpong, 20, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, while another victim, George Owusu Afriyie, was robbed of 4,500 cedis.
