Young Berekum Chelsea striker Dominic Frimpong died at the age of 20 following an armed attack on his team's bus returning from a match against Samartex. The incident, which occurred between Bibiani and Goaso, resulted in injuries to several individuals. On loan from Aduana FC, Frimpong had scored 2 goals in 13 appearances this season. An investigation is underway to locate the assailants.
