Ghana to Host CAF U-20 AFCON 2027 During 70th Independence Year

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially awarded Ghana the hosting rights for the CAF U-20 AFCON 2027, coinciding with the country's 70th independence anniversary. Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku confirmed that this will be the first time since 1999 that the tournament will take place on Ghanaian soil. The top four teams from the tournament will qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, highlighting the significance of this event for Ghana.
