Ghana to stage 2027 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations

Ghana will host the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, marking the second time the country has hosted the tournament. In 1999, Ghana was the host and won the title by defeating Nigeria in the final. Twelve teams will participate in the competition, which will also serve as a qualifier for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup. South Africa is the defending champion of this biennial tournament.
