Governor Barasa Invites EACC to Probe Corrupt Officials After Report Flags Mass Bribery

Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa has warned county officials following the release of an EACC report revealing widespread corruption in the region. He stated that Kakamega is one of the most corrupt counties, with an average bribe amount of Ksh79,305. Barasa called for the EACC to increase its presence in the county to investigate corruption cases and threatened disciplinary action against corrupt employees.
