Washington has solicited 49 of the 54 African countries to host individuals expelled from the United States, according to an investigation revealed by Forbidden Stories. Ghana, Rwanda, Eswatini, Cameroon, South Sudan, and Equatorial Guinea have already received migrants. The Office of Remigration, established in May 2025, oversees these negotiations, led by Christian Ehrhardt.
