Panic in Mambasa after a new ADF attack

A new attack by ADF rebels occurred in Mambasa on the night of April 5 to 6, causing many residents to flee to the city center. The attack, which took place in the Arua 2 neighborhood, resulted in two injuries and the burning of two shops. While the army claims to have neutralized five ADF fighters, civil society criticizes the ineffectiveness of military operations against the ongoing violence of the rebels, who have killed nearly 100 people in two weeks.
