Trappes attacks: An acquaintance of the suspect speaks about his political views

Kévin T., 39, from Plaisir, is suspected in attacks in Trappes and La Verrière in the Yvelines. Nadège, who has known him for more than ten years, told RMC she struggled to believe in his alleged involvement, though seeing his photograph gave her a sense of foreboding. She says he openly voiced support for the far right and made hostile remarks about immigrants and residents of working-class neighbourhoods. France’s National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor’s Office has taken charge of the investigation.
