James Murdoch to acquire New York Magazine and Vox Media Podcast Network

James Murdoch has agreed to acquire New York Magazine and the Vox Media Podcast Network in a deal valued at over $300 million. This acquisition will give Murdoch control of a storied magazine known for its coverage of culture and politics, as well as a podcast division whose reach rivals that of cable news networks. Murdoch and his wife, Kathryn, were also instrumental in courting key talent from Vox, including Kara Swisher and Scott Galloway.
