Hacking of the DAF: Senegalese plunged into an unprecedented crisis

The hacking of the data from the Directorate of File Automation (DAF) has sparked growing anger on social media. Since January, Senegalese citizens have been unable to obtain identification documents, leading to serious consequences, including children unable to be evacuated due to lack of identification numbers. The ransomware group Green Blood Group claimed responsibility for stealing 139 gigabytes of sensitive data, including biometric information and immigration documents.
