Hajj 2026: Morocco Expands ‘Makkah Route’ to Rabat-Salé Airport

Morocco will officially launch the ‘Makkah Route’ program at Rabat-Salé airport on Monday, May 4, attended by Minister of Habous and Islamic Affairs Ahmed Toufiq and Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh. Approximately 17,000 Moroccan pilgrims will benefit from this service this season, which allows them to complete all travel formalities before departing for Saudi Arabia. Since its deployment, the system has served around 54,000 Moroccan pilgrims.
