Hamas armed wing says disarmament demands not acceptable

Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida stated that calls for the group's disarmament amounted to an attempt to continue Israel's genocide. He asserted that discussing the issue of weapons before the full implementation of the US-brokered ceasefire would not be accepted. Hamas also indicated that it would not discuss disarmament without guarantees of Israel's complete withdrawal from Gaza.
