Mame Diarra Thiam, known as “Diodio Glow Skin,” a cosmetics seller facing legal proceedings, has been released under electronic monitoring. Her lawyer, Me Aboubacry Barro, cited her health as the reason for the measure, saying, “She is ill.” After giving birth by caesarean section, she suffered a medical episode and was transferred to Dakar’s Principal Hospital. Her release does not end the proceedings, which will continue according to decisions by the competent authorities.
