Hezbollah and Israel swap threats and strikes across Lebanon’s border

Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem condemned Lebanon's direct talks with Israel, stating that the group will continue its strikes in response to Israeli attacks. Israel threatened to 'burn' Lebanon, while Qassem asserted that the Lebanese people have the choice between 'liberation and pride or occupation and humiliation.' Hostilities were reignited following the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in attacks carried out by the U.S. and Israel.
