History-making qualifier Chwalinska sets up Andreeva French Open final

Maja Chwalinska of Poland became the second qualifier in the Open Era to reach a Grand Slam singles final, beating Diana Shnaider 7-6 (4), 6-4. The 24-year-old will face Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva in Saturday's final at Roland Garros. Chwalinska has dropped only one set in nine matches, while Andreeva beat Marta Kostyuk to reach her first major final.
