Hoodlums stole the Blessed Sacrament from the Adoration Chapel of St. Mulumba Catholic Parish in Owerri, Imo State. A statement from the Archdiocesan Chancellor noted that the theft occurred on the morning of Wednesday, April 29, 2026, when unknown individuals entered the chapel through the ceiling. The Archbishop has directed parishioners to hold a week of prayers for reparation starting May 1, 2026.
