A technical policy report backing the proposed Local Content Bill, 2025, presented by Laikipia Woman Representative Jane Kagiri, reveals that multinationals route billions of shillings abroad for services. The report estimates that annual service cost leakage could range between Sh136 billion and Sh185 billion.
