How Mexican cartels turned South African farms into meth production hubs

Five Mexicans are appearing in court in Swartruggens, accused of running a methamphetamine lab worth one billion rand ($60 million) in North West province. The lab is part of a network of four major sites uncovered in South Africa in two years, all linked to Mexican cartels. Other labs were dismantled near Groblersdal, Tshwane, and Mpumalanga.
