How organisations are preparing for mandatory sustainability reporting

As the mandatory adoption of IFRS sustainability disclosure standards in Kenya approaches, organizations are actively preparing for compliance. The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) has issued a transition document to guide organizations in this preparation. Companies are conducting baselining exercises to assess their current status and identify gaps while engaging in sector forums for knowledge sharing. Additionally, board directors and executives are investing in learning to integrate sustainability into their responsibility frameworks.
