According to the report from the National Institute of Statistics, Cameroon’s palm oil exports increased by 17% in 2025, reaching 177 tons. This figure contrasts with an estimated production deficit of 200,000 to 300,000 tons each year, due to the growing demand from processing industries. To compensate for this deficit, the government authorized massive imports, with a record of 200,000 tons in 2023. Despite this, foreign sales remain minimal, with only 1,687.5 tons exported in 2023.
