Palm Oil: Opalm invests 9 billion FCFA in a 25,000-ton factory in Moungo

On April 8, 2026, Cameroon's Minister of Agriculture, Gabriel Mbairobe, laid the foundation stone for a palm oil production factory in Lengue, Moungo department. This investment of 9 billion FCFA will enable an annual production capacity of 25,000 tons and is expected to create 340 jobs. Additionally, the factory will ensure annual revenues of about 5 billion FCFA for palm oil producers in the area.
