African Comic Salon in Kinshasa: Barly Baruti Wants to Amplify the Voices of the Voiceless

The 7th edition of the African Comic Salon and Other Music (SABDAM) will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa, featuring the art of Congolese sculptor Alfred Liyolo. The theme for this edition, 'Bomoyi, kaka se bomoyi', reflects life and the wealth of Congo, symbolized by mine workers. Barly Baruti, the event organizer, emphasizes the importance of giving a voice to the voiceless and announces the participation of international delegations.
