Babajide Jooda, former Caretaker Local Government Chairman of Irewole in Osun State, has filed a N500 million lawsuit against Inspector-General of Police Tunji Disu and former Force Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin for declaring him wanted based on a purportedly forged court order. Jooda was arrested in connection with the murder of Remi Abass, but the police later withdrew the charges against him. He is contesting the legality of the wanted notice published in national newspapers in February 2026.
