'Nnamdi Kanu accepts Nigerian govt's admission that conviction done without jurisdiction' - IPOB

IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment on November 20, 2025 by Justice James Omotosho. IPOB claims that the Nigerian government, in its cross-appeal, admitted that the trial court acted without jurisdiction in sentencing. Kanu accepts that admission. IPOB argues that the sentencing is therefore a nullity and the Court of Appeal cannot remedy it.
