Official: Bassirou Diomaye Faye appoints Bakary Sakho, a former member of Pastef

President Bassirou Diomaye Faye appointed Bakary Sakho, a lawyer and former member of the Pastef party, as a technical advisor. Sakho left Pastef, led by Ousmane Sonko, to join Kiraay, Faye's party. This appointment comes after a wave of resignations within Pastef following the split between Faye and Sonko and coincides with the establishment of Faye's new party, Kiiraay.
