Ian Huntley died from prison attack head injury

Ian Huntley, convicted of murdering two young girls in 2002, died at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary after being attacked at HMP Frankland. He sustained head injuries from multiple strikes with a metal bar on February 26. Another inmate, Anthony Russell, has been charged with his murder and is scheduled to appear in court on April 24.
