Ichung’wah Writes to IG Kanja Over Alleged Gachagua-Linked Violence Ahead of Kikuyu Rally

National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah has written to Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja raising concerns over an alleged campaign of incitement and violence linked to DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua ahead of a political rally in Kikuyu. Ichung’wah accuses Gachagua of using a vernacular radio presenter to promote hate and violence, threatening peace in the constituency. He urged the IG not to withdraw police security from the rally, fearing it could lead to chaos.
