Fire razes aluminum company, residential building in Oyo

A fire destroyed an aluminum company located at Km 110, Iyaganku area of Ibadan on Thursday, while another fire affected a residential building in Ogbomoso on Wednesday. Maroof Akinwande, Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, confirmed that firefighters brought the situation under control. The fire at the company was caused by electrical sparks from an unattended appliance, while in the Ogbomoso building, the first room on the right was engulfed in flames.
