Rare footage captured of Great White shark in Mediterranean Sea

Volunteer diver Derk Remmers captured rare footage of a Great White shark in the Mediterranean Sea in May. The shark, believed to be an adult male, was spotted many miles offshore between Tunisia and Sicily. Overfishing has driven the species near extinction in the Mediterranean. Scientists say the sighting is no cause for concern, while conservationists hope it will prompt governments to create marine protected areas.
