Imports: Cereal Bill Decreases in 2025 Due to Rice and Wheat

In 2025, Cameroon reduced its cereal import bill to 466.9 billion FCFA, a decrease of 14.1% compared to 2024. This decline is mainly attributed to rice imports, which reached 268.7 billion FCFA, and wheat, which amounted to 187.8 billion FCFA. Together, cereals accounted for 8.9% of the country's total import expenditures.
