In Cameroon, the bill for frozen fish imports jumps 38% to 230.8 billion FCFA in 2025

According to the 2025 report from the National Institute of Statistics, Cameroon imported 267,259 tons of frozen sea fish in 2025, representing a 29.1% increase compared to 2024. In value, these imports cost 230.8 billion FCFA, marking a 38% rise from the previous year.
