The Ogun State Police Command in Nigeria has launched a statewide enforcement operation against vehicles with covered, obscured, fake, or missing number plates to curb crime. The operation follows a directive from the Inspector-General of Police. Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni ordered all area commanders and divisional police officers to strictly enforce compliance.
