Insecurity: DHQ backs U.S. intelligence support in counter-terrorism fight

The Defence Headquarters has expressed confidence in ongoing security cooperation with the United States, stating that their assistance is effective in addressing Nigeria's security challenges. Director of Defence Media Operations, Michael Onoja, clarified that U.S. support is limited to intelligence sharing and does not involve the deployment of foreign troops. He also assured that the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, remains safe with adequate measures in place to maintain order.
