iOS 27: Unpublished Parameters in Code Reveal a Foldable iPhone

The first developer beta of iOS 27, released on June 8, 2026, contains technical references to a foldable iPhone: parameters foldState and angleDegrees were spotted by Sam Henri Gold, and mechanicalAngleDegrees by M1Astra. Under macOS 27 Golden Gate, the iPhone Mirroring app can be resized to a wide horizontal format. Apple has not made an official announcement, but the device, possibly named iPhone Ultra, could be unveiled in September or October 2026 alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models.
