Gbaka Fares in Bingerville: New Transport Prices Under Scrutiny

In Bingerville, the municipality, unions and transport operators set three gbaka fares on 19 October 2026: 200 CFA francs between Nouvelle gare and Fêkessé, 300 CFA francs to Nouveau Goudron, and 500 CFA francs to Djambé. On Monday, 26 October, Deputy Mayor for Transport Diomande Mamadou Dibo and sector representatives inspected compliance. Mayor and MP Issouf Doumbia, known as Dougou, aims to protect passengers from overcharging. Operators who refuse to comply could face sanctions, including having their vehicles immobilised.
