Iran agrees to safe passage through Hormuz strait for two weeks 'if attacks halted'

Iran announced on Wednesday that it would guarantee safe passage for maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks, provided that attacks cease. This period will be used for negotiations with the United States aimed at ending the war, starting Friday in Islamabad.
