Iran's Sports Minister Ahmad Donyamali stated that the country's participation in the upcoming World Cup is uncertain unless FIFA relocates its matches from the United States to Mexico. The Iranian Football Federation has requested this move but has yet to receive a response. Iran, placed in Group G with Belgium, Egypt, and New Zealand, is scheduled to play all its games on the US West Coast.
