Jean-Claude Muyambo to Kabila: “He belongs at the ICC”

In Lubumbashi, Jean-Claude Muyambo Kyassa, national president of SCODE, called for Joseph Kabila to be transferred to the International Criminal Court, saying the alleged acts and available evidence warrant it. On October 12, Kabila was named head of the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation, a politico-military movement that says it will oppose the government in Kinshasa by all means, including force. Congolese authorities accuse him of supporting the rebellion; he was sentenced to death in absentia in September 2025 for treason and war crimes, charges he has contested.
