Israeli attacks deepen Lebanon fissures

On April 5, Israeli bombs struck Ain Saadeh, killing three people, including Pierre Moawad, a member of the Christian Lebanese Forces party. Israeli attacks have primarily affected the Shia community but have also resulted in casualties among Christians and Sudanese. Since the onset of strikes in March, approximately 1,500 people, including 130 children, have been killed in Lebanon.
