Former Chairman of the Nigeria Electricity Regulation Commission (NERC), Sam Amadi, has countered government officials' warning against politicising the nation's security crisis. He stated that the current insecurity is a product of political leadership and that President Tinubu's government should be held accountable for kidnapped students. Amadi noted that the ruling APC also politicised insecurity in 2014 when it was seeking power.
