‘It’s a fresh start’: Kenya makes case for France summit in Nairobi

Kenya urges African nations to view the upcoming France-Africa Summit in Nairobi on May 11-12 as a chance to reset relations with Paris. Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Korir Sing’oei emphasized that the summit aims to recalibrate Africa's engagement with France around contemporary priorities. Approximately 30 heads of state and government are expected in Nairobi for this event, which will be held for the first time in an Anglophone country.
