KMRC prices green bond at 12.2pc, eyes tax-free sweetener

The Kenya Mortgage Refinancing Company (KMRC) has offered a fixed interest rate of 12.2 percent per annum for an eight-year green bond aimed at raising Sh3 billion. KMRC is awaiting confirmation from the Kenya Revenue Authority regarding the tax exemption for its bond, which is compliant with the Income Tax Act.
