Ivorian Wrestling: FLDACI Forced to Suspend Its Competition, Leaders Appeal to the Ministry

The competition of the Ivorian Federation of Wrestling and Associated Disciplines (FLDACI), scheduled for June 6, 2026 at the Agora de Koumassi, was suspended by the Directorate General of Sports and Federal Life, upon referral by the Ivorian Wrestling Federation (FIL). FLDACI leaders, including Technical Director Malo Jean-Noël and Secretary General Ouattara Amadou, held a press conference to explain their actions and call for ministry intervention. They denounce the decline of the sport due to the lack of competitions and reaffirm their respect for institutions.
