Ivory Coast: OIDH denounces manipulations and foreign interference threatening democracy

The Ivorian Observatory of Human Rights (OIDH) presented a report on information manipulation and foreign interference in Ivory Coast during a ceremony on May 13, 2026. Brice Nioulé highlighted the challenges posed by the rapid circulation of digital content, which undermines democracies. Professor Dion Yodé Simplice discussed the consequences of disinformation on public debate and institutional stability. A call was made to strengthen prevention and regulation mechanisms.
