Miguel Cardoso brushes off Steve Komphela tunnel brawl ahead of CAF decider against Wiliete

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso played down the physical altercation between senior coach Steve Komphela and Wiliete coach Beto Bianchi after their first leg in Lubango, Angola. Bianchi reportedly needed medical attention and was hospitalized, but has since returned to training ahead of Friday’s second leg at Loftus Versfeld. The first leg ended 0-0, making the return fixture the tie decider. Cardoso urged calm and said the incident had received too much attention; unconfirmed reports alleged that Bianchi used racist abuse in Portuguese.
