2026 Amending Finance Law: National Assembly Returns File for Lack of Essential Document

Senegal's National Assembly stated Thursday that it had not regularly received the draft amending finance law (LFR) for 2026. On June 29, a letter from the General Secretariat of the Government was received, but without the draft law itself, an essential document for initiating parliamentary procedure. The competent services returned the file to the government for completion. As of July 16, no completed file had been submitted.
