Benin: CRIET convicts a former collaborator of Armand Gansè for online harassment

The Court for the Repression of Economic Offenses and Terrorism sentenced Bob G.K. to two years of suspended imprisonment for electronic harassment against Deputy Armand Gansè. In addition to a fine of 10 million CFA francs, Gansè was awarded 5 million CFA francs in damages. The accusations were based on WhatsApp posts that harmed the deputy's honor, published after the end of his relationship with the defendant.
